Fishing on Lower Sysladobsis

Lower Sysladobsis is approximately 11 miles long, covering an area of 5376 acres. It is well known for its salmon, small-mouth bass, and white perch fishing.

 

Motor boats are available for a daily rate:

14′ V-hull with 8 hp Honda motor $75 per day

14′ V-hull with 20 hp Honda motor $100 per day

 

Kayaks and canoes are available for free for day use on the lake.

Please bring lifejackets.

 

Fishing licenses are available for purchase at Smith’s General Store in Springfield.

For those interested in hunting, Spruce Lodge is within zone 19, and readily accessible to other zones. Wildlife common to the area include bear, moose, deer, fox, and turkey.
